I am the lone person on this forum that doesn't really like black wheels (sorry). Maybe it's because I'm old ? :D

I’m not keen on most black alloys - I like the satin black Reifnitz alloys on the GTI TCR though.
Generally speaking, unless you’re close up to black alloys, you can’t see the design details of the wheel, and IMHO they nearly always look dirty unless they’ve just been washed. I would choose black over diamond cut alloys though, as I like diamond cut even less (poor durability, susceptible to white worm, more expensive to refurbish than powder coated alloys, easily damaged by tyre fitters).
We’re all individuals and it’s good we don’t all like the same things though :smiley:.

I don't really like gloss black wheels because of the swirls in them, but I really like matte or satin black wheels. That being said the Pretorias suit most colours you see them in.
