9a is 135 bhp, abf is 150 bhp. Fuelling is different too amongst other things. Dont know a great deal about either tbf so sorry to hijack!

Never seen this thread before, what's the difference between the abf and 9a engine??

Start with 15mm taller block.

A proper electronic injection system

None of that metering head shyte.

It's just better.

And chuck the cams from a kr into a 9a to instantly give it around an extra 20bhp.  :smiley:
