I want a massive shed

No you don't because it'll be full of old agricultural equipment and junk and the roof will leak and the wind will cut through it just like a knife and the whole thing will be a huge drain on money.

My huge drain on money does have 3-phase power and a 250litre compressor.  I have plans to improve it pretty soon.

Dirty isn't the word!

All I'm seeing there is 'Blah blah blah'.

are they speedline chronos?

Isn't that a watch?

No, they're ADK or somethings and they came from a mate who was told by another mate that he had them lying about.

Did you know there are around four different types of wheel bolt out there in the M10 on the Golf?

Thankfully I have a huge bucket of wheel bolts, which included a set of the right sort for these.

I bought a house.

It distracted me.

It now has hot and cold running water and the cooker works.

That's all you need to know about the house.

The replacement engine is now in the C, there are new inner CV boots after the joints were stripped, cleaned and re-greased.

The motor is out of my old 90k SEAT Toledo.

The replacement gearbox is out of a 70k SEAT Cordoba, although we had to swap over the shift tower for the original C one, as morons had done something to the Cordoba one.

Morons had also fitted the alarm, so the original connectors are now in the bin, with VW ones replacing them, ensuring a good connection.

Pics later when the front's back on it.....

Had a water leak on the thermostat housing AND the lower hose which surfaced on Sunday, so new replacements are now in from GSF.  These were items swapped in from the 9A instead of the original ABF items, so the motor would fit up to the existing radiator.

Annoyingly I swung by a scrapyard yesterday (after ordering the bits from GSF) and found a Toledo TDI with air-con and a slimline rad and twin fans.  I *think* this will replace the OEM one and get rid of the annoying bleed hose off the top of the rad, so I could have bought and fitted the Toledo rad and kept the ABF stat outlet and pipework  :undecided:

So, that ate up most of yesterday, mucking about waiting for GSF to actually get the parts to Hovertravel - they only lost one lot and spent a couple of hours denying it.

Now those bits are sorted and on the brakes need bleeding up, as they're still not all there.  Neither is the clutch.  Anyone got any tips on bleeding ABS brakes and hydraulic clutches?  Not overly happy about the look of the bias valve on the rear beam, either - don't think it's moved for a long time.

Further to that, it seems that the Corrado has the speedo sensor on the engine loom (and on those plugs), but the Golf3 has it somewhere else, as it's not on the G3 loom that's in there now.  Annoyed about that one.
