Not looking great for him

Surgeons are trying to save his hand as it looks like it could be paralysed.

Very sad but just goes to underline the huge risks in motor sport

We have to wait a few days until we hear the extent of the damage and whether his hand will work or not

I wish him a speedy and great recovery, I've always wanted to see him teamed up with Alonso at Ferrari.

this just sucks. I liked kubica from the moment he appeared in the F1 arena.

Hopefully he will make a full recovery but it seems full use of the fine motor movement of the fingers is so important in modern f1 that i can't help but think he might be out for good.

I really hope i'm proved totally wrong.

His hand was partially severed, he won't be in an F1 car this year. Such a shame.

After reading the comments from posters on James Allen's website, it looks like he may be out forever

hopefully he'll prove everyone wrong but as long as he keeps his hand and at least regains enough strength and dexterity to still drive at a competetive level in motorsport of some sort this won't turn out as bad as it could have for the poor bloke.

Such a shame, i hope he gets himself sorted and back in the car! I do agree with a few comments about renault letting him rally so close to the beginning the season being a bit risky. (obviously)
Currently pootling around in our family wagen, a Tiguan SEL 😂

Kubica in induced coma after 7 doctors operated on saving his right arm. Condition stable but serious

That was about 8 hours ago from Lee McKenzie

you never know how bad these injuries actually are as the press become more and more sensationalist.  At the time of the Massa accident there were reports he'd never come back...and looked what happened there.  Fingers crossed this is the case again as I think Kubica is great for the sport.
