My selector fork went on an old mk4 of mine, all I could was 3rd gear. Needed a new gear box  :lipsrsealed:

The garage managed to weld it up so I could had 4 gears to use for a week or then had new box put in.

It will probably be the rivet on the selector shaft that has gone, quite a common fault on the 6 speed box.

It is repareable but the box will need stripping down to do it.
