hi ,150 diesel ,is remaping worth doing for performance and econ, and does it affect anything when it goes to vw for a sevice on there comps

itll possibly make your clutch slip depending how old it is,other than that youll get better hp, torque and mpg. other than that therll be no problems

MAP IT! You won't look back. As long as your car is in good health you should be fine. Take it a good tuner, Rtech/Darkside/Carbon...
As mentioned above certain parts will wear quicker due to a map.

The 150 is notorious for leaking boost pipes around the intercooler so check them out prior to remapping. Also clean out the EGR valve
Other than that, get it mapped!!
