absorption coefficient
« on: 26 May 2010, 11:52 »
Had the soot burner MOT'd yesterday, all was good again.  :smug:
I'm just wondering what the "absorption coefficient" is all about??
Here's some info.
Test limit applies  1.50  1/m

absorption coefficient  0.30 1/m  ----1/min  Zero drift  0.05 1/m

absorption coefficient
after correction          0.25  1/m
That was last years results.

This years.

Test limit   1.50  1/m

absorption coefficient   0.39  1/m  ----1/min    zero drift   0.02 1/m

absorption coefficient
after correction           0.37  1/m

Any idea what all this means.  :undecided:
