GolfDan thank you v much, we weren't sure if the green was going to work but it's all in the name of try it and see, I had a lot of enquiries on the day from a lot of people, good day out all in all.

Thank you.. yes it's been a labour of love, I had a year out from the scene but really glad to be back on the circuit, painted trim makes a difference plus easier to maintain, as before it was a constant battle of keeping the plastics the right shade of black..

The wheel colour has made a lot of noise on other forums too, I was shocked to see what went on in a 24 hour period after the show, all good press for our wheel refurbishing business, so cannot complain at all..

My cars a little tired bodywork wise this year bless it, but still just about passes, but you know what I still can never get it to shine like your Rivage when you had it, I always use to envy that steak free gloss on the paintwork, always looked mint no matter what distance you had travelled :cool:

Hopefully I will see you soon and defo at the GTi this year, so we should catch up proper then..

If only I had a £ for every person that said that to me on Sunday, they were going to be pale orange and at the last minute we sourced this current colour and gambled on it, looked like it's paid off.. I wasn't personally sure but the wheels have nearly been on the car for a week now and I've grown very fond of the look overall..

No worries and thank you, I was in a little world of my own most of that day & having to field so many questions from potential punters/admirers alike, so it's probably me that should be apologising, hopefully we should be at Stonor, I have always liked that venue but May is very busy at the moment for me, I have car related event every weekend that month but hopefully we'll be there all being well.

No your spot on the same wheels from '05', we've just evolved them over the 4 seasons, it's the first time we've gone to 2" on the rear though..

The wheels aren't green anymore.

The car doesn't look the same anymore - ideal time to resuract this thread I believe.

This is also a queue for Mr.Blue (Mr.BAFTA) to inject his wisdom on the whole subject as his running around in one of my all time favourite true OEM effect car of late.

Perfection is soul destroyer but it's also becomes a sanctury when achieved.
