help needed passat 1.8t sport

emiions light came on yesturday on my 51 plate passat 1.8tsport 16706 ignition-distributor engine speed input signal circuit-no signal             

17536-long term fuel trim-system to lean [bank 1] 

doesnot feel like its missing so i am thinking alone the lines of sencors?? any help would be awsome

Im not sure what the ignition distributor is on the 1.8t engine to be honnest,  but the fuel trim code is usually an air leak, check the small silicone hoses from the manifold, there is one from the manifold to the fuel pressure regulator and one for the recirc valve, these can split, the pressure regulator would only take a small leak to cause this,  also check the brake servo line, and the rubber connector where it enters the bulkhead.  Just look for general vac leaks and air leaks on the intake side post MAF.

If vaccum hoses OK the replace the mass air sensor.
