Ok so im shep and ive had my mk3 for a month now so time to start a project thread!!

ok the car is a '92 8v Gti in tornado red with 106k on the clock.

heres some pics of the day i bought her:

After AGES of t-cutting and polishing!!

and the stunning engine bay

Will be getting some coilies in the next couple of days

also need to get:

-passenger side sill cover
-glove box lock & latch
-rear window spoiler

soo today was time to fit the raceland(hottuning) coilovers, anyone wondering what handling is like on these it is very similar to a classic mini or a go-kart!

How do those front tyres not rub!!

Looks cool but imo the back needs to come down or the front up a touch!

Are you painting it purple?? That would rock!

think i managed to get the height just right for no rubbing. also the back does look quite high on the pics but in person it looks just as low as the front, its weird. Like on some pics it looks like you could put your hand on top of the tyre but you actually cant because the wheel is up in the arch..

right thought id stick in a little update:

bought another set of headlights which i tinted, have also sprayed the fog blanks. also fitted a s/s back box as the old one fell off!
