I think the MK7 R looks more special in Blue with the wheels below...the wheels above don't look special enough and look more suited to a Bluemotion...

those wheels are horrendous

The white car on the other hand is stunning

Agree, they look really cheap and tacky.  Love the other wheels though.

Well the final bits were removed from the 35 so it is now back to standard and about to get a detail before put up for sale, its an odd feeling as doesn't feel like my car anymore and my Polo is more modded, that said you forget how nice the 35 feels out the box, looks like the Pirelli may be going for a more door R for the wife so the parts clear out will begin soon but the following may be of interest:

Bilstien PS10 B16s
Eibach ARBs
AP Racing 4pot 330mm kit
S3 rear callipers in red and hoses which are freshly refurbed
Subframe with VWR Engine Mount

35 will be sold privately so hoping it finds a good home

Hi mate, do you still have the car? I currently have an ed35 with a stage 1 and am considering a stage 2. Can't decide red or non res and wondered if I could have a look/listen to yours?

I sold this car in 2014 and swapped it for a 7R, I ended up hating the Milltek on mine as it was just full on, if i had kept it would have gone back to Stage 1 with all the other mods kept in tact
