Tyre removed from the wheel and the plug pulled from the inside.

Fitted TCR wheel centre caps.
A very subtle change and probably one only I will notice but damn, they do look good with the darkish red rings giving a nod to the red callipers.
I know it’s sad but I am running out of “little things” to do to this lovely car.
The most expensive thing I’ve done (during Covid) was fit the oem TCR lip spoiler. It’s been on for 3 years and my wife hasn’t noticed yet 
I think the spoiler gives a lovely subtle lift to the profile, again without being too obvious.

TCR caps look great, I'm a little off them myself but that's more because red on red with mine.

If you want another subtle mod you should try the NCZworks paddle shifters. (below) They make cheaper ones you build yourself for 1/3 of the price but they've closed the shop for the holidays and I can't find the link.

Lost count number of times I’ve taken tyres to local independent to do exactly that with never an issue. Once they had to get get the plug vulcanised as it was very close to the edge, did 40k on it before the tyre wore out.

Hi Willni.

Before I had even taken delivery of the car I had gone “mad” and bought myself the beautiful Racing Line paddles.

Ridiculous price but at that time the lower cost replicas were not yet on the market….or I failed to find them.
Paddles are just part of my driving habits unless in town traffic so if I divide the number of times I’ve used these things vs the original cost, its a consolation!!

Other wee touches added over the years have been : oem front engine cover,  Audi chrome 12v plug, alloy GTI footrest, permanent disabling of S/S gizmo, red trimmed Mk8 carpets, unplugged the soundaktor thingy, and…. used a Pedalbox for 3 years but now find the car more pleasant to drive without it and use paddles and S instead.

Fitted a new coil pack to cylinder 3 and new wiper blades.

Edit 01/01/24 - Only realised that they've updated the coil pack part number for the GTI's to RS3 coil packs now, if you're also nerdy enough to care.

The car now has the paint matched Oettinger rear roof spoiler fitted which I think adds a great touch to the car's looks.

Also fitted to the car is the TCR back box which as others have said is a nice evolution over the standard back box.

Ticked over the 30k mark so I braved the 3 degree weather to clean it. Mulling over a colour change of the alloys as I hate the matte finish (I wanted satin...), so open to suggestions thinking a dark silver or light gold as a wild card.
