Thanks Booth11!  Do you have any more broker companies please? Think I have decided on a Mk7 R

Carwow.co.uk

Broker4cars.co.uk

Carfile.net

Orange wheels.co.uk

To name a few.  Worth asking on the mk7 section as well.  I know a few on there have used brokers so will be able to give you honest review/recommendation.

I've used drivethedeal and it was painless. They just give you their best price on-line and then if you go with that, that's their involvement over. Its all between you and the dealer.

Collection day for my new M135i confirmed as the 31st May

So thats 35 days from order to collection which is pretty rapid.

I've been very pleased with the level of service I've had from BMW Coopers, Thames Ditton thus far. I can't wait till hand over now.

I've been stocking up on loads of detailing products to do the new car protection. Can't wait to get my mitts on it!

Finally my golf gti is no more........end of the fast life, and now to the slow life... 4.5 yr old mark 6 gti for £10,700 at 31,000 miles part exchange for a 2014 Range Rover Evoque Dynamic SD4 nine speed auto in grey.  Happy times with my golf cruising down M1 in the fast lane all the way down south (sorry i was a bit of an aggressive driver).
Reason choosing the Evoque was due to 10% off with cousin working at JLR as a designer.  Would of wanted the RR Sport but no discount as too new and demand was too high and without that discount was over my budget.
Been on here for ages since when i first got this golf.  After paying off the golf last September had contemplated other cars such as the audi S4 advant, a secondhand A7, secondhand 6series grancoupe, BMW 4 series and even the Porsche Macan but that was too expensive (£50,000 inc essentials) and alas finally gone for the Evoque because it made financial sense- how could one turn down 10% off?

The refinement is unreal and looks really good albeit bit slow at 0-60 in 8.5 secs and a top speed of 121mph.

Nice big clean car. For me though the Evoques need privacy glass to finish the look. Without it it just seems strange.

i will in future add privacy glass (option via LR was overpriced) and possibly blacken the alloys but not straight away.
it should be clean....it was in the showroom less than an hour before pic was taken.  its confusing getting round the technology with these touch screens and keyless go and all.....theres even two lock systems for goodness sakes- don't really know: full lock or semi lock or something like that.
