Forgot to add, this will be fitted before my MOT as well!

Audi TT arb, with adjustable droplinks. Does it look like I'm going lower, maybe?!

A couple of issues with the arb, but all fixed up and feeling good!!

More importantly, the car passed its MOT!!!

Massive weight off my shoulders, and it means that I can focus on getting the new bumpers on and sorting out some 50mm H&R springs, as conveniently, I can now go lower!

Just a small update...

I recalled having error codes from ages ago and decided to stop being lazy and sort them out. Scanned it and only found 17664 (engine coolant sensor). Then it made me think, I've replaced the coolant tank. I erased the code, started the car up, and then re-scanned it. No codes!!

I've also been in contact with the Bodyshop and my parts are weeks away from completion. Gonna be a monster update when all the parts get put on the car

Here is a cheeky one of the rear bumper stripped down...

More to follow

I've been a little bid happy on eBay and I seem to have amassed a few bits for the car

1 x Allard EGR delete
1 x TurboRevs SMIC
1 x 45' bend Aluminium pipe (which is too small  but will be replaced with a 57mm one)
2 x 90' bend silicone hoses
4 x 50-70mm jubilee clips
1 x 1metre of braided fuel line
1 x Twin fuel line separator clamp

This should keep me occupied for a little while

Turborevs intercooler is now fitted. As is the Osram night breaker headlights and new Bosch battery  I've also got another little surprise to add to my thread, but it's not quite sorted yet

Anyway, here is the before and after pics of the SMIC...

I've been buying bits again...

Managed to pick up a Seat double din Satnav for a massive £72!!! :smug:
Considering that this is exactly the same as the VW unit fitted to some top spec Mk4's (but with Seat logo on start up) I think I have got quite a bargain. The VW equivalent sells for £200+

Here is a little reminder of what this part of my car used to look like...

Big improvements!

Not how I hoped to reach the 10,000 views, but unfortunately my lovely little diesel is no longer!

I'm sorry to have let the Mk4 side down, but this morning I was subjected to some slippery/oily dual carriageway as I was changing lanes, resulting in this... :lipsrsealed:

Most importantly, no one else was involved, and I walked away from it without a scratch on me! I'm sad that it's the end for the girl, especially as her credentials are fantastic, but she held up when it really mattered, and I'm grateful for it! Bless her, even after this, she still starts up without hesitation

Worryingly, there appears to have been at least two other crashes in exact the same spot (judging by a graveyard of car trim, wheels and smashed up trees)! I highlighted this to the highways agency, and he said that it happens quite a lot, as if there is a oily residue on the road, quite often it's presence can be felt, long after the initial spill, resulting in these 'black spots' for accidents :undecided:
