The Supercar Event Goodwood 23/24 July 2021
« on: 19 February 2021, 12:08 »
Hi all, hope a few of you see this.

I work for a children's charity and I help set up and run this event each year.  Previously we were at the Top Gear track at Dunsfold, then Rockingham for a year and now our new home is Goodwood Motor Circuit.

We usually have about 5,000 visitors each day and it's a lot of fun for petrolheads and family members.

We have around 150 cars each day, custom, super, exotic and hyper cars.  There is something for everyone!  Helicopter rides and lots of other things to do.

Sadly we had to cancel last year but this year we are keeping our fingers crossed.

Please see link below, website is just waiting for some updates soon but the ticket buying section is correct.

Please have a look and I'll post some of my photos below.

The highlight for me was a guy I knew from Switzerland who previously brought an Aventador and then he said he will get something special for next time, so he kept his promise and bought and drove over a 3m Euro red carbon fibre Pagani Huayra!!

Thanks very much.

Blimey, how do you pick a favourite out of that lot?!
It’s fantastic to see how many supercar owners come along to support the event, I particularly like the shots of all the cars lined up ready for action.
It looks like the weather was smiling on you that weekend too.
Some people get all the tough jobs

Wish I knew how to post video's as i have some crackers.

The La Ferrari at the top was brought by Chris Evans and my fave was the carbon red Pagani! although I used to man the Lexus stand and look after the LFA, that is the same one that was in the studio of Top Gear when Clarkson was raving on about it.

We had a little problem at Goodwood last time as we broke the noise levels lol

I can well imagine with that amount of firepower in one place that the noise regs were battered!
You’d probably have to host the vids on YouTube and copy the links across.
Would be really good to see them

The orange Superleggera in the background of run out is mate that sets it all up. Has a Diablo now and his mate did the repair job on the Diablo Paddy totalled on Top Gear! Cost the Beeb around £50k! Lol

Another funny story... https://www.dailycarblog.com/2014/11/lamborghini-owner-turns-aventador-mobile-barbeque/ this Lambo fire caught the news few years back, look at my pics above and see if you recognise it lol nice bloke 🤣

Just found this in my old pics too with the same wrap
