Title: Wheels - Tyres and Locking Wheel Nuts
Post by: shaolindan on 16 February 2011, 09:30
After establishing that the wheels on my car are not genuine TSW wheels, I thought I should hurry up and put the original BBS RA back on.
So I have 2 points:
1) Locking wheel nuts for 14" 4 stud BBS RA - does it matter which ones? Any recommendations?

2) Tyres - I see in a previous post that Toyo's are being recommended. However as I believe the original mk2 came with Pirelli tyres and Pirelli are now on the Golf in the BTCC - not to mention F1; I was thinking of either P6000, P6, or P Zeros. Any thoughts?

I'd go for toyo proxes over pirelli's any day. I find they wear out really quickly
