All of these demo cars will have been ragged to f7ck - I'd rather wait a few months for a new one!

Cheers ,I'm just glad I fixed my part exchange price mind you it has caused us some hassle being late as we now have to mot the car and renew the insurance then change it when the new car arrives.

Check with your dealer. My roco will likely need 4 new tyres before I get my car due to the delay, and they said they'd sort it out without effecting the PX value or me paying!!

Have had an email from the dealer today telling me my GTI is showing Production Week 36 (1st Week of September) on their system even though the tracker still says "Processing ..." (as previously discussed above)). Going to drive their DSG demo on Wednesday, with report here later.

When I (re)ordered the car in mid-June they said I still had the same slot as my day 1 order that I subsequently cancelled but that it would be week 40 - they weren't clear on week 40 build or week 40 delivery. So maybe it has moved forward a little or maybe not.

Anyone know or willing to speculate on time from production week to me being in my new motor ?
