Mk7 Reflex Silver GTI Clubsport
« on: 16 April 2022, 23:21 »
Picked this up a couple of months ago, thought I’d get a thread going on it.

2017 Reflex Silver Gti Clubsport, DSG, pan roof, Dynaudio, 19” Brescias with nearly new Eagle F1 Supersports. It’s been meticulously maintained by its previous owners. Front wings, bumper and bonnet has PPF treatment and the entire car has been ceramic coated. Some nice additions too with 7.5 rear lights and head unit.

Really enjoying it so far. You know you’ve picked the right car when you’re making any excuse just to get out and drive it!

Got it booked in for a service and a general once over not long after getting it. Been 30k kms or so since the last time the diff was serviced so had that done as well as a brake fluid change for some VW Racing RBF312. It’s missing a rear brake backing plate so one for the to do list but other than that its in tip top shape.

Considering lowering it a bit so may throw an Eibach Pro kit on it. Also looking at some wheels. Love the ones on it but always nice to have a choice  Think a set of black Team Dynamics would look well. Watch this space!

Looking good. In my opinion they are the Golf, it brings the best bits together for what is a factory car. Not that I’m biased at all!!

Thanks lads!

Booked in for the first trackday in the CS around a month ago. Had a shorter day than planned. Managed 4 or 5 sessions before a puncture put an end to my day. Looks like I picked up a screw which then came out, could hear the air escaping when I came in from a session. Ah well, lesson learned. Either carry a puncture repair kit or have a proper spare wheel on standby! Although I’ve done a fair few TrackDays and it’s the first time I’ve picked up a puncture.

Very nice, and fair play to you. I admire anybody that throws their car around a track, as a 'glass is half/half full' kinda guy i'll always look at the worst case scenario with most things, maybe i should stop watching Nurburgring videos
A chequered previous car history (mainly blue oval, sorry) prior to owning Golf's.
2001 mk4 TDI - died at some traffic lights due to someone not stopping!
2000 mk4 GTD - a dog of a car, sold to WBAC in limp mode!
2000 mk4 1.8T - most fun i've had in a Golf (until now) but nearly cost me my licence!
2020 mk7.5 Tornado Red TCR - current ride.

Thanks! Life’s too short. It’s the only way you get to enjoy cars like this!
