Well today my car went in to have the uprated sachs organic clutch put in due to the clutch slipping since being remapped as well as a new dual mass flywheel. Clutch is noticeably stiffer but not so much it's undriveable but I'm sure I will get used to it :) so glad I can now fully use all the extra power safely

rough cost of parts and labour?

Total cost was £1164 and if remember correctly the breakdown was roughly 500 for the clutch 300 for new dual mass and 300 labour. Service was great kept me informed throughout the day with the progress and even took pictures showing the difference between them after removing my old clutch.

Left it in the station car park and took the train to London.  On the way to the station saw a black and white BMW i8 at the roundabout, and then bizarrely, driving back home 7 hours later, saw the same car again at another roundabout.

Reckon the proud owner must just drive it round and round the city all day long   Looked ace, so can't say I blame him

I didn't get much of a look at the back of the one I saw as it was coming towards me both times, but I see what you mean, like they've wedged a bit of the 911 in the rear, it looks a bit weird and out of place :undecided:  Front looked good but I still prefer the styling of Audi R8.

Unfortunately Porsche 911s are all too common round here.  Lovely cars but get sick of seeing them.  Not so many Caymans though   and, despite them rapidly becoming a ten a penny motor, I've only seen one mk7 R round here.  That might increase to two next year

All this BMW talk has got me thinking about a 2 Series Active Tourer as a Golf alternative.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Finally after nearly 2 months found the time to get her cleaned. I must have been busy or ill or something I never normally leave it that long, and she has never looked better!!

We'll I hope it stays dry for you so you can revel in her new found cleanliness

Breathed a sigh of relief when I saw it was raining this morning, couldn't be arsed to clean it today. Rain stopped but I took a nap instead.
