Just like to give a heads up to Sky insurance for their renewal for 2013
Originally when I called back I was given a renewal price of £1092
Which was a fair chunk up from last year's price of £750. I called around the other main specialist car insurers, Brentacre, Adrian Flux, HIC and Greenlight. HIC was £660 a year with 3rd party cover to drive other cars, and Greenlight was £611 a year on a 7500 mile policy (It's what I cover per year). I called Sky again to see if they could beat it, as I received a renewal letter saying if they couldn't beat my quote they'd give me back the difference plus £20, and they managed to quote me £600 on the dot on a 10,000 mile policy with the same extras as Greenlight.
So big thumbs up for them for beating the rest!
