Golfgti.co.uk Forza 3 Golf Championship

Guys,

I thought once I’ve sorted my xbox live issues out that I would set up and run a Golfgti.co.uk Championship season. Essentially a number of races on set dates and I will administer the points and tables and keep a thread up to date. The plan would be something like 3 races per meet, 5 set meet dates (so 15 races total) and only Golf GTI’s up to A class allowed entry. Points would be awarded for 1st through to 8th  (10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1) and an extra point for fastest lap.

I thought each meet could have a sprint race (5 laps on a short circuit), a medium race (5 laps on a medium length circuit) and a long race (15 laps of a long circuit).

What do you chaps think? Interested?

If it works out we could try doing a VAG trophy type season with any VAG car A Class entry.

I just thought it would be kinda cool to have a few set dates for a meet up and make it a bit competitive. I might even sort some sort of prize for the champ winner!

maybe 3 races is abit to much, maybe just 2 races on each meet. And just add a few more laps say 7 laps per race.

Well I'd try and sort out the dates so they fall at a good time for everyone. At least if they were put in far enough in advance we can tell our respective partners that that those dates are for gaming. If we make it week nights peeps are less likely to be out on the town etc. I thought Tuesday nights might be a good one. I never do anything on a tuesday and we could do it every other week so it's not every tuesday. Something like that anyway that works for the people who want to get involved.
