You lost me when there was mention of original V5 also.

If copies are acceptable I am also in.

must admit, not overly keen on posting V5 :undecided:

but I don't live anywhere near a dealer, and I love the look of the pressed plates!
also, with this group buy I get the plates and surrounds for £36 instead of £50 - kudos to shady pioneer for arranging this

I'm in either way, though hopefully a photocopy will suffice :) If posting the original, I'm sure dubmeister are trustworthy and I'll be sure to post it recorded / insured

Always wondered if these were completely legal, though it all looks sound.
Cheers for doing this mate,

No problem guys, I'll be ringing him up today as didn't have chance yesterday. Will hopefully be ok for a Photocopy, however if it isn't that's why it's recorded delivery :)

Just gave him a ring, copies won't do because people can forge them, change things in Photoshop etc. He said that's 100s of people have done it sending their docs via special delivery which is obviously insured and they send them back out the same way. If you don't send the docs required thy won't do it, which makes sense because you'd have to supply ID and V5 or similar to get them done at a dealer. :)

These are the requirements that are on their site:

Proof of entitlement codes
V5 - 11 digits in section D
V11 - Vehicle licence renewal
V379 - Vehicle registration
V750 - Certificate of entitlement
V778 - Cherished transfer
Official Hire/Lease document
Record of insurance claim

Proof of Identity
Driving Licence
Passport
Photo travel pass or ID card
Foreign ID photo ID card

However he did also say a utility bill like water, gas, electric, phone etc is ok too because they have reference numbers on there.

I know some people are gonna drop out now because of the ID side of things, admittedly I forgot to mention these but nonetheless it's all safe and secure. :)
