I’m interested, I’m not being critical.
I’m on car about number 140 since I started driving quite a lot of years ago so I’ve done plenty of driving .I now find I get as much pleasure just owning the car and faffing with it as I do driving now. I don’t mind a spin out in it but I get an equal amount if enjoyment in the detailing of it and keeping it nice. I’ve got a few cars and bikes but do very few miles in/on any of them. My enthusiasm for rattling around the countryside isn’t what it used to be but I do enjoy the ownership of a nice vehicle.
There are many ways to enjoy car ownership.
I thought you may be keeping it pristine with a specific purpose in mind, given that it’s an unusual example of one the best hatchbacks ever made, imho.
I occasionally see very low mileage classics advertised in auctions, I suspect yours will become a coveted car in years to come.
