nice relays guys ,makes a project worth carrying on with ,,,,evern in the snow rain etc,,,only had a hour free 2day ,so  just made a start on the gearbox mount ,, bit fiddley but found a way around it ,useing the oringal place of the mk1 mounting bolt holes,


roughly how the standard mount modifyed to it ,,(ill also be adding a bit more metal to mount ,,which ill sort 2moz,,,

 i think its normal to cut chop and weld a few lumps of steel togther ,,,,,,,,,well it will come togther at some point i reckon,just get the old burner out that soon trims emm down to size ,,lol , at the moment im just trying
to beef up best i can ,and not worry about adding weight ,,as id sooner hve something beefy and not flimsy ,,,

in that case here more homemade stuff lol
had to change the mount it wouldnt fit lol



sorted
then the dam bolts sheared off so time to tap a bigger one in there


then ,its tight but it fits lol


carnt see that shifting anyway soon
decided to make a wiper arm ,,works fine too

hi pal ,no i dont lol ,,,just thought id have a go really  and try thow somert to together and see what happerns ,and conpairing what tuning parts cost ,ive buggar all sat in this at mo,,unsure if anyone else has one ,in the u.k ,,,,
