It would sound like a canal boat. Diesels I've heard with a sports exhaust do anyway.

I spoke to a vw performance specialist and he told me to go for the diesel as I'd be disappointed with the power that the petrol model has. He said buy the diesel and chip to 180bhp and the petrol won't even look at it plus I would have to use it for wrk so diesel makes sense, i just want to try and make it sound a bit btr and the smart comments from ppl on here about it being diesel doesn't help.

Only a bit of banter mate! chin up. Wat colour is the anni? i just got a black petrol. Dont do enough miles 2 warrant a diesel. Better sound off the petrol, never drove a diesel so dont know how they compare performance wise

dont bother with dump valve

just chip it, done my mk 4 Gttdi 50 and its just over 180 bhp now and i love it...thats without any exhaust fitler etc...

gonna get a stainless for it, prob a mongoose or miltek, and a K&N and thats it...
