Also adam any info on how to get the market on there, as I had a quick look and can't see anything.

Here you go-

Thanks alot, I think I may be getting this as it seems like a no braining with competition in the lower end off the market. Also was you running a V2 tablet, would this make a difference or not?

Archos has/had 2 different 7 and 10 inch tablets, the 7, 10, 70 and 101. The 70 and 101 being the newer models running Android 2.1 while the 7 and 10 ran a home brew OS IIRC.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

I'm lost now Jay as on the website it just says "7 v2" not 70... you sure the v2 is the 70 version any perks to it as well?

You have a Touch Pro 2 as a phone? Bloody hell those things are such toss. Loads of our customers use those and we get so many faults, lock ups and general slowness plus the touch screen is a horrid resistive thing. I've got 3 on my desk I use as a coaster for my coffee.

I see the thread has already attracted one of our resident Apple fanbois to pick holes.

Without the budget constraints what would you recommend, Jay?

The Wife has mentioned something about an Apple Fondleslab and we have enough fruit-based computing devices in the house already.

Don't want a 7" device - I already have a phone....
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

That aimed at me? I only have a MBP, all the mobiles here are HTC's and I highly rate them and Android. The old HTC Touch Pro 2's on WM6 though are utter gash. I should know, I have to support about 1500 of them.
