My clubsport is 3 years old in November
Do I do dsg oil and filter change or wait until 4 years old as its only got 11k miles on the clock
It has a service plan also

I had mine done at 3 and 6 years and I do 4k a year.
Do you have a Haldex as that will need a service as well?

Your car doesn't require DSG service at 3 years 7 speeds don't require the 40k DSG service do they?

Certainly not at 11k.

DSG service intervals by type of DSG transmission at the link below. The DSG in a mk8 Clubsport is the 7 speed wet clutch DQ381.

I’ve read on some forums in the past that some proactive enthusiast GTI owners use the 40k miles service interval of the 6 speed wet clutch DQ250 for the 7 speed DQ381 even though based on VW’s recommended service intervals it’s not required. Over-servicing is no bad thing IMHO .

I hugely over service but no intention of moving on from my GTI anytime soon, hopefully will pay dividends later (and I’m also of an age long before extended and ‘lifetime’ services)

The last service it had front diff oil change also brake fluid change
Dsg not due until 80k so it would take me around 15 years to do that mileage
So though either do it at 3rd service or do it at 4 th year service
