Title: What wheels to go for ???

Just purchased my mk6 gti... was thinking about changing the wheels ..... 19"s or 20"s any suggestions or anyone had any problems ?

BBS SR in 19". Got them on my Mk7 - can't post pics as I'm at work but search for posts by me quoting BBS SR in the Mk7 section.

Plus points:- They look amazing (subjective), they're strong (tested with potholes lol).

Minus points:- probably a little heavy - they're not 'lightweight wheels'.

Had no problems at all with them.

I've got the 17" version of VW Motorsport alloys in anthracite on my Polo GTI; nice simple design that's easy to clean. I also like both the BBS SR's and Neuspeed RSE14's too.
