So they've coded the new key but wiped all the maps, phone won't connect and Android auto is now asking for an activation key.

Any ideas?

Apparently they reset everything according to the tech... Not convinced.

Keep eyeing this up. 41k though, for that money I'd go next door to BMW and buy the M2 they have on their forecourt.

Love the colour of the golf, I'd even keep the stickers on it.

Pretty sure no-one would actually pay £41k for one though!

Discovered the fuel flap isn't locking . Have disconnected the electrics behind the trim in the boot (a few clips may have been broken in the process, normal for me, why can't they just use screws?) now just have to order a new part. Oh, and gave it a wash

Just called the dealer, £31.90 so not too bad. Will collect and (weather dependent) fit tomorrow.

In terms of the 4 indicator change above, have you tried reseting the light settings after you have made the change - I think it is under car, settings, factory settings, reset light settings...

Thanks, it was exactly that. Very odd but the Carista mod is now working and blinks 4 times as specified. Cheers.

Check your door sills for scuffs, alloys got scratches and doors for dings. That’s usually main dealer fare.
