Went to Motorworld and bought a Sevic DVD player since it has a direct iPod connection and amazingly it actually works with my iTouch!! Whereas many incar headunits cannot recognise the device but this can!
Also found that the audio output in terms of bass is far better than my previous Sony headunit and this SEVIC with a 3.5inch screen only cost £150! Bargain I reckon!
