Saw the new car at the dealers today in the daylight for the first time. Looking forward to Thursday now.

Funny old thing, some will remember me saying how people move to the sticks and the first thing they feel the need to do is buy a 4 wheel drive vehicle. They really are not necessary. Now here I am with two of the buggers.  :grin:

Had a 65 plate Tiguan before getting rid of it for the golf. Found the dsg gearbox really lazy on the 184 diesel and rather annoying.

This one seems to have a bigger problem than a sluggish gearbox. Having found out that main beam and the rear wiper don't work, it's gone back today. Turns out it needs a new BCM as it's not sending any outputs to numerous components. That should be done tomorrow or the next day, or the day after that, so in the mean time I'm riding round in another Golf.  :rolleyes:

My cousin has it now, but it doesn't get much love.  :sad: The Vancouvers are still mint tho' as he still has the 17" Passat wheels and winter tyres on...from over a year ago.

We would probably still have it now if both of us didn't prefer the 2 pedal option.
