Why are you worried about it sealing on the painted surface?

Dishes are being polished and clear coated :)

Can't risk sealing onto the painted surface, if the paint hasn't adhered to the surface 100% then it won't be sealed properly. Just going to run around it with a grinder pad, back to metal. Its easy to do and worth it for sure.

I'm in no rush to get them done anyway :)

I got that, but surely the sealant would take that up?

Defo need to clean the other side of mate. Sealing wheels with a smooth finish is bad enough but with rough finish it's just not a good idea. All areas that mount to each other should be bare.

Sure you will get it sorted n look forward to seeing them mounted!!

Should have a big update tomorrow or Wednesday. 20 hours of work in 2 days, a new car and everything getting wet.....
