Well yesterday I did an oil and filter change

Cleaned out my catch can, was much needed!

And fitted a new rear caliper

So here's the engine bay yesterday:

Now today, this started happening :D

Stripped the wiring out, labelled it and took all the tape off

Parts removed so far:

As it stands now:

Back to it tomorrow all day to finish stripping it off. Get the front end off and the engine stripped and start refurbing parts and seeing what needs replacing. Bay will stay dirty and matt black but the engine and the parts should look good! And I'll be rewiring it so should be a lot tidier!

In other news, picked up my VR block today, been sat in a damp unit with no love :( so maybe while i'm in the process of refurbing parts for the 20vt, I'll give it a lick of paint

Hahaha, cheers man. Can't to see it come back together, going to be awesome! Re-routing some coolant lines, lots of new silicone. Moving the PAS reservoir next to the coolant bottle too. Things like that.

It was down the line on things to do about 2 years ago! About time you got on it boy..

I been on it hardcore man, getting it done!

Re:- VR Block

Nah I have everything else, I just left it at my mates unit. I got a few goodies for it; turbo, manifold, hd valve springs, titanium retainers. When my car is sorted, the splits are on and I've made progress on my k03/k04 hybrid and I got spare funds, I'll get back to buying some more goodies!

More done today!

All the parts labelled. Gone through everything, replacing lots of parts and cleaning it all up.

As it stands at the end of today.
