Mk1 LCR Splitter
« on: 09 October 2013, 20:25 »
For those that don't know these front splitters are dirt cheap compared to any other splitters out there and theyve been fitted to basically loads of cars from astras to mini's but does anyone know if it will fit to a mk7 Gti, or did anyone ever fit one to their mk6 assuming it's a similar shape?

I would have thought they could be made to fit. It's normally a case of trimming the center support legs down, but really, would you want to fire some self tappers into the bumper of a new £30k car to fit something that every Corsa ans Saxo in McDonalds car park has on it?
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Depends how it looks and assuming i would have to fire self tappers into any splitter and these will be nearly 20x more expensive http://www.golfmk6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46174
Plus it always looked good on the mk2 ,
