As subject says, my AC packed up.!
1month after I stop vw warranty!! Anyway, re gassed it worked, then stopped working after 2weeks. Said slow leak. Used dye but cannot find obvious leak as soo slow. They didn't charge for the investigation, but they said cost £800 to strip dash as only other place is behind dash, think heat exchanger? Anyway, dubious of dealer, I went to another vw specialist, they swapped pressure switch but no luck, confirmed slow leak and dye not showing up, and need to remove dash, and maybe change something? But lab just remove is £600!! All in all lot of dosh, anyone had similar experience, or can recommend air con specialist?
So saving up for this extort ate job!! VW won't do anything like goodwill to cover some of cost, as car 8 yrs old...!
