Ivor was that the price for 5ltr,s. I use castrol edge 5w 30w which used to be castrol longlife.

No mate. That was for the 1 Ltr top-up bottle. Give ur local VW parts dept. a bell. I think the 5 ltr is around £20-22, but I can't remember, TBH.

ps Rich, I was speaking to Jody at Mid VW today & he was saying in the high miler cars, he switches from fully to semi-synth. (I think he said high as in cars over 100k).

Only thing i would do with that - fill my oil can and use for odd jobs around the house  :laugh: :grin:

I use comma 10w-4o semi synth,the cars done 94K 18T AGU engine.Dont know what oil it had in before i got it but i tried 5W-30 fully synth and it sounded tinny,Then was told using 5W-30 oil is to thin and does something to the seals near the turbo so i changed to 10w-40 alot quieter and seems ok
