due to its lack of power and ability to idle or rev, had a new idle valve a fresh set of plugs and a new rotor arm and disi cap

wow what a difference the gti has got its mojo back 

also sorted the hatch wiring as the wiper had stopped working along with the number plate lights 

now clear ,bright and legal 

all thanks to Alan at 'discount vw audi center hoylake' a mk1-mk2 god

After doing a power slide on a roundabout I decided to put winter tyres on. Nearly Hirt the old girl!

picked bits up from vw,its amazing how little 49.90 gets you  ,block breather,o ring,retaining spring clip,some screws and 2 interior bulbs

Been a busy day had a load of stuff fitted by my mate i went to lend a hand not that i was much use!

Genuine cambelt kit, metal impeller water pump, fresh G12++
Genuine oil filter, oil, spark plugs, pipercross panel filter,
k03s, silicone TIP, 3" downpipe and decat

need a new exhaust manifold as well mines got a nice big crack in it!

Cold plastic is brittle.

Did you try and fit it as one piece? best to fit them seperatly starting from the outside then joining them in the middle

Cleaned the engine bay and spay painted a few bits in there. Finished welding up my TIP, then dropped my maf and the sensor snapped!
