sidelights

not trying to sound like a total noob here, especially since i jus fitted HID's to my car, but the 1 thing that stumped me is how the @*$%  do i take the side lights out??? :angry:
tried twisting them, pulling squeezing, i jus cant figure it out!
(MK5 btw thats my old mk4 below)

If you do a search, you'll find 3-4 topics on the same thing.

Basically it's just a b**ch and prepare for scraped knuckles, blood and raw fingers.

Invest in either surgical pliers or snipe nose pliers :wink:

Unless you have a hand like Jeremy Beadle you will find it a painful experience!!

Managed it by taking hold of the wires and the bulb holder anf pulling. At first you think....Sh*t I'm gonna break this!  :shocked:

Used pliers to get mine out. There was blood everywhere until I got the pliers out :D

I love the way the manual says so simply "just grab and pull" or something along those lines :rolleyes:
