I went to my bmw dealers yesterday and they had one in, with better looking wheels, same blue, exactly the same interior, then i went round the back and it said 118d. Put me right off that someone can get the same looking car for less. Anyway i have to admit it looked good but i think a lot of that was showroom gloss etc and not being enough room to be able to look round at its ugly profile, front and rear.

What you saw was an M-sport 1-series not an M135i. The M135i looks different from most angles, twin pipes, better wheels, bigger calipers, xenon & LED as standard and 320 horse power...

Your comment regarding someone can get the se looking car for less, what about the GTD and GTI compares to your ED35?

I certainly am, it just seems too cheap to be true...

It has to be cheap to make up for its dubious looks....

Stunning........

Just because it hasn't the GTi go faster bits it hasn't made it the design abomination the new 1 series is

You mean value for money for a car that's better made, more power, more involvement, better spec, better brakes car than anything out there for £29k.

Too many VW fan boys here that can't accept the facts. The car is the same price as a Rocco R!!!

If you want a car with a hard ride, cramped interior and dubious looks then go for it..
30K for a 1 series is having a laugh really..

honestly?

we all love golfs but that sir is crazy talk

straight 6, with over 100bhp more than the GTI, power coming through the CORRECT wheels... I think it kind of confirms what everyone without a mk6 thinks! what a f'ing rip off VW are  :lipsrsealed:
