it will p!ss all over a GTI

Don't talk sh1te

JCW 1130kg, 208bhp, 184bhp/tonne

Max speed   147mph
0 - 100 kph   6.2 s
1/4 mile   14.5 s

golf gti 1318kg 3-door manual - (add 30kg for dsg and 30kg for 5 door), 208bhp, 158bhp/tonne

its not rocket science. its lighter, same power output, has a better chassis MUCH better brakes and is smaller.

there are faster/better handling cars out there that DONT have vw badges on you know

Maybe I'm getting too old to understand, but just because a car is a little bit faster and motoring journalists say "they" think it handles better, does this make it better car than another, perfectly capable car?

It's all bragging rights and bolllox in my mind.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

yep i agree to some extent which is why i put my money on the car I've got.

i said a JCW would p!ss all over a GTI which it will. fact. then i was told i was talking bollocks even though its in black and white.

i would struggle with the lack of practicality from a  small car which is why i bought what i did so yes just cos a car is faster doesn't necessarily mean its better the point i was making as a drivers car a JCW would murder a golf.

I have only ever owned VW's & most likely only ever will, each to their own i suppose
