Review on Autocar gave the Subaru version 0-60 in 7.6 seconds so not outrageously fast but they loved the handling of it and the power to weight ratio is still higher than our GTis.

Nice looking thing - it even has a soft touch dash apparently!!!!

Looks like the MKVII Golf will have a 2.5 RS version with 4WD and 365bhp. Looks like my saved pennies will be spent there for sure. Due out late 2012!  :cool:

The RS sounds insane! If the GTI isnt due till next summer you can bet the R & RS will be twelve months ater that.
