yeah i think so... just before they decided they needed to cut costs  :lipsrsealed:

Nice motor...

I'm thinking of "downsizing" to a Mk 5 R32!

Never a bad choice SC

I know many say the ed30 is faster/better etc etc than the R32.... but one thing it isnt is capable of bring a smile to your face thanks to that fantastic V6 engine

Yeah... it may handle like a barge with two tonnes of coal at the bow. But I do miss that creamy V6... especially as the weather warms up. Used to have the window open in my Mk 5 R32 all the time to hear that sweet music!

Every time I see an R32 I quietly wish I had one, that engine is just amazing.  The R32 also looks great but I'd have to get an RNS fitted as the dash looks dated in the MK5 and the the RNS would at least take my mind of it....

Sorry going off topic now but this talk of Audi 5 cylinder engines reminds me of my favourite owned car of all time the UR quattro, what a sound track. Sorry pic's are really old (mid 90's), showing my age now too.

I would love an R32 and looked at 2 before I realised the mk6 in GTI form was being released, it was then a no brainer as the interior of the mk6 is so much nicer than the mk5.  So I also thought about upgrading to an R but in all honesty the GTI is more than good enough for me.

Decision time. Tiguan or Yeti? Either way it'll need to be a 4Mo diesel, DSG with good spec list.

What are your thoughts on either?
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.
