If I can’t order a mark 7 GTI come December then I will order a Scirocco R in white – 19’s alloys, leather and panoramic sunroof.
The mark 7 GTI is what I would really like but wont wait after December to order.

I can't imagine you'll be able to order in December, Rocco R it is then....

Have heard the mark 7 will hit the showrooms in June 2013. That being the case there might be a chance of putting an order in. The R would take 3month anyway

When I come to change I'm going in with an open mind, I certainly will be looking at the new VXR for sure.

I may end up thinking the same thing after sitting in one, I will look at the new ST too but think a Golf R will be next.

R...4WD is the way forward for me- The GTI's fwd is just never enough to put the power down, even in the dry!
Mk6 GTI, Candy White, 3 Door, DSG, Monza shadows, Dynaudio, RNS 510, Bluetooth, F+R Sensors, Xenons, Sunroof, Cruise, Lux Pack, Sill protectors

I wanted an R originally but decided the extra cost & running costs were just not worth it especially as a fully loaded one comes in at about 38-39k

How often do you need to put that much power down unless you are doing track days ? Realistically not an issue on the daily commute
