Like it mate, you can't beat that car for value for money and I've no doubt you're going to get a little more power out of it.......

Bigger turbo or remap?

Don't think so but good thing with these is you can fit them EASY ie bulbs because it has projector headlamps  :wink:

Cost me £15204.30p (VAT Q too  :wink:) - one owner - 4500 miles - flawless A1 condition  :wink:

I'm comming to the conclusion that I must just buy another Mk6 when I come to change mine even when the Mk7 is out.

My thoughts behind this are:

a) Couldn't be more happy with the Mk6 GTI, does everything I want it to do, so why not buy another one
b) Not sure I fancy paying 30k plus for a Mk7
c) Should hopefully get a good price for nearly new Mk6 which would leave spare cash for upgrades if required
d) Wouldn't say no to a Mk6 GTD in the future because of rising fuel prices/cost of living etc

Anyone else thinking along these lines.............?

I agree that getting a Mk6 as your next car if the discounts are about, for me though if I stayed with the MK6 it would be the R for sure.
