Hi

It is 3yrs old AUC and I have to say the dealership that preped it made a brill job, kindo restored my faith in dealers actually. (Unfortunately not my local one).
I had hankered after one for years, so finally after a lot of searching and constantly chopping and changing spec that I wanted, this one cropped up, in a completely different colour than what I had thought I would go for. But had a quite a load of goodies, however the condition was the complete decider. So Lamont is now ma friend.

cheers

Guess what I got yesterday:

Cayman R, PDK, Sport Chrono Pack, Bi-Xenons, Sports Exhaust, Rear Park Sensors, Rear Wipers, Flat black.

I have not been able to wipe the stupid grin off my face since I got it. My GTI is tuned to 270 and it's quick but using launch control and getting to 60 in 4.7s is a little addictive. I am going to have to be so careful on public roads.

Anyway, one thing is for certain that in the short time I've had her, I have noticed a huge increase in anti-social behaviour toward me on the road as a result of the badge and so many people have had to try and force their way past me and cut me up.

Still have the GTI, trading her in against the new Tiguan for Mrs AGB and then I'm not having anything to do with buying new cars for at least five years. Which is what I said when I bought the GTI in April 2010.

MK7 Clubsport S, 981 Cayman GT4, MK7.5 GTI TCR

Congratulations Alex. Bleck it flatly had to be.

I drove a Boxter in France for a couple of days recently. 'twas Red of course. Quite amazing and great second car to have for those fun solitary moments.

But why get a Tig? Keep the GTI and let the lady have some fun too. She'll be no safer in a Tig. Besides, you'll need a step ladder to clean the Tig's top or is that the good lady's task? Typical Colonial!
