The missing links in my collection/list of VW's to own are a Mk1 Campaign in Silver, Mk4 GTI 180 Anni in Silver, Lupo GTI again in Silver, Touareg R50 V10 TDI in rising blue  :grin:

We sat in one and checked the boot was big enough for Mr Doc Jnr's pram etc

Thinking of going for a late R DSG version now as I've been told the pre 2011 MY Tigs have Tiptronic 'boxes not DSG  :sad:

Yes only last of old shape will be dsg 7 speed previous were 6 speed torque convertor. Summits were very rare but beautiful White metallic and baseball tan stitched leather. Basically each dealer was sent on out of the blue some time ago but will all be autos not dsg's....

Yes its true, you cant get an R tig DSG I tried, but a man of your caliber herr Doc can sort that out !! The R Tig is a very very nice motor I drove one and my mrs loved it, but just couldn't stretch budget wise .

Our Tig R Line is an 2010 MY so has the tiptronic box and it's pretty good, not as smooth as the 7 speed DSG but still a very good box  :smiley:
