I think they need a pecking order within the VAG group, Audi and VW perhaps the top runners for engines chassis and kit, with Skoda and Seat trailing with their own takes on last-gen models and interior trim.  This obviously excludes Porsche, Bugatti...and Suzuki!

61 Plate GTD 5dr, Shadow Blue, 18" Charleston's, Flat Tyre Indicator, Cruise Control, Bi-xenon (With Dynamic Curve), Storage Pack, Winter Pack and RCD 510.

I know other companys think there nuts as all the brands in the VWgroup fight for share of each others sales rather than have dedicated sectors.
For example what they should do is go for different markets.
Skoda - Cheap brand. (Hyundai, Kia rival)
SEAT - Sporty brand (ST, RS, XR, lotus rivals)
VW - Normal brand. (Ford, Vauxhall rival)
Audi - Premium sector. (BMW, Merc rival)
Bentley - High end brand. (As Bentleys use to be)
Lambo - Super cars (Ferrari rival)
Bugati - Hyper cars

I bought the Tiguan and think its best thing I ever did rather than wait 5yrs for a new GTD , infact it drives better than the GTD due to the 4wd , would I buy another Tig yes I would !!

It'll be a Tiguan or Yeti for me next.
Probably a Yeti...unless I'm feeling flush.

Reducing my Golf count by the week....
..but gaining motorcycles.

I'm actually dreading the day the mk 7 GTI is on sale.

Three reasons:

I will have to have one.
It will cost me a fortune.
I will stop loving my current perfect car so much.
Mk7 GTI. DBP, DCC, Winter pack. Mine since new, July 2013.
GTI no. 4. Golf no. 5.  VW no. 7.

I love Wolfgang 1 and can't wait to get Wolfgang 2. Metallic Red would do me fine. Roll on 2013.

I will have to have one. I wont
It will cost me a fortune. Yeah it will
I will stop loving my current perfect car so much. I'm worried about the huge drop in value my car will have when the Mk7 comes out.

Then start saving now so that you don't have to trade in the Mk6. Best of both worlds.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Streuth, if you can afford to save up £30k cash in 2 years you really shouldn't be on a Golf forum!! Either that or you need to try living a bit more of an interesting life!!

I just borough a baby Mk6

The Jetta diesel that took on the daily driver duties from my old Mk6 GTI was just too boring, so welcome along to: -

My favourite option on the car, LED DRL Xenons

Baby Monza's that need to be changed for something else just not sure what yet

Coding tweaks for the digital speed and normal locking/auto close stuff all completed

And the new family photo, just missing the Mk2 GTI as it's off at boarding school AKA the Father in laws garage

The spec is as follows: -

1.4TSI 180ps DSG
LED DRL Xenon's
Climate Control
Sensor Pack
Convenience Pack

Basically as close to the factory spec I would have ordered as I could find.

Multi-function steering wheel buttons (R Line versions in gloss black to match the rest of the trim) have been ordered and an RNS-510 and bluetooth to follow shortly.

Performance wise I am going to try to drive it for a bit but I am sure the calling to get it mapped will be too strong to resist
