Anyone fancying a Rocco next? I'd consider one if there was a new Mk coming out.

I think I would miss the practicality of the Golf.
I moved house a couple off years ago and couldn't believe how much you can pack in there.

Mk6 GTI 3dr | DSG | Tornado Red | 18" Monza 2 | LED Xenons | RNS510 | Bluetooth | Smoked LED tails | Cruise | Reversing Camera | TPMS | - now sold :(

I know what you mean you can fit loads in the golf. We have a second five door car but at least once a week my toddler comes for a ride in daddy's car. Therefore I'm not sure if buying a two door car again would make practical sense.

It's great to know how many of you won't be buying Mk7s. I will be the only one who will and as such the only GTI in the village. :smug:

My wife likes the Tiguan so it means that we'll have a 'practical car' which means that I am off the leash to buy an 'impractical car'. So I guess it wasn't a good idea to go into Porsche to pick up some brochures. I went back the next day for a test drive and I kinda put down a deposit on the new Cayman R.

Seems I'm going to have to wait quite some time for the 2012 Cayman R as they've not been allocated to the UK yet but the test drive convinced me beyond all doubt. I am so frikkin' excited about getting this car.

I still love my GTI though and if I could afford to have both, I would.

It's a fantastic car, another league to the Golf.  FYI - The all new Cayman is out end of this year/early 2012.
