20% Off All-in and Service Plans
« on: 18 March 2024, 16:50 »
Until the 2nd April, VW have got 20% off All-in and Service plans.  That makes the 2 year All-in £30 per month (normally £37.50) or a 2 year Service Plan £16.40 per month (normally (£20.50).

I'm getting a 404 dead Website when I click that link.
Might just be me, might be busy or might be another cock up by VW that has been deleted.

Does the All-in product give you the right to withdraw from the contract within the 14 day cooling off period? If so, then couldn’t you excise that right to withdraw and start again to take advantage of the offer price?

You might be in some sort of cooling off period where you could cancel it, then take out the new deal?  Might be worth checking?

Our next 2 services on a 2019 Golf R are likely time related, not mileage, as wife will only do 4-5000 miles pa max.

Car has just had its March MOT and Oil Change done.

Next services on my App:

1. 2025 Oil Service + MOT 354 days
2. Inspection Service 792 days which comes after 2026 Oil Service + MOT

How would that schedule apply to a plan? how am i best to approach to ensure get best bang for buck or pound if sign up for a plan?

For context, May 23 Brake Fluid, Dust and Pollen Filter, Spark Plugs, Haldex and Gearbox Oil was done and car is already under VW warranty till Sept 2026 so its purely service plan need.
Present - BMW 128Ti Alpine White, 18" Performance Tyres, Sun Protection Glass, Parking Assist, Heated Steering, Boston Trim, Split Folding Rear Seats, Electric Lumbar Support
- 2nd car: 2019 Golf R DSG Pure White 19" Black Pretoria, Privacy Glass, Rear View Camera, Dynaudio, Keyless
- 2019 Pure Grey GTI TCR 5 Door DSG Reifinitz Wheel DCC Climate Screen 90% Tint
- 2016 Lapiz Blue Golf R 5 Door DSG Pretoria DCC
- 2013 Pure White GTD 5 Door DSG DCC

I've got a service plan running at the moment (car is 3yrs old end of April) which runs out soon, so doesn't give me the option online.  Waiting on a call back from the dealership.  Anyone know if you can take this out in advance?

You can just buy two years servicing... Its not all in, just servicing.

Yes, good with that, think what was poorly getting at, is the inspection service more in cost than an Oil Service? Or is it a lesser service?

Its next 2 services on schedule should be Oil Service + MOT, 2025 and 2026 but the inspection service (Main?) is due not far behind the 2026 Oil Service, so should i try to push that up and get more bang for buck?

However, this is just how manage it, think its pretty clear that purchasing a plan for 20% reduced makes sense either way do it.
