Hello all had a smell of petrol coming into the cab after getting my gti serviced at VW main dealer. After taking it back they said it was the high pressure fuel pump and showed me the small amount of fuel collecting around the thread of the pump. After watching a few videos online it doesn’t look too hard to change it myself so wondering if anyone has done it themselves or have an opinion of it?
